Understanding Plagiarism
Pogojo takes plagiarism very seriously. So should you.
Pogojo is a resource tool to help you with your course work and is not a resource to help you cheat. Pogojo takes plagiarism very seriously, as the integrity of the site will be damaged if you use it to sell work that does not belong to you or that breaches your university’s plagiarism policy.
Further, when you register to become a user of Pogojo, you accept the
Terms and Conditions of the site. A key issue that you need to understand is that of plagiarism. You must comply with your university’s plagiarism policy before uploading any work. If it is brought to our attention that you have plagiarised or not complied with your university’s plagiarism policy or our
Terms and Conditions, we will immediately take the work down from the site and issue you a warning. If you fail to comply with your university’s policy or our Terms and Conditions on two occasions, you will be banned from using the website.

Understanding Copyrights
Pogojo takes copyright infringement very seriously. So should you.Subject
to your university’s intellectual property policies, where you (when
not a university employee) have created any work that you intend to
Upload, you are the owner of the copyright in that work. Accordingly,
unless copyright is transferred in writing by you to another party (eg.
your university), you own and will be entitled to submit the work for
sale.
Where the university might have copyright over any work is typically in the following examples:
- where the work was a product of your participation in a research team whose members included university staff members;
- where the work was created with the use of university resources,
- where the work was created as a result of pre-existing intellectual property owned by the university; or
- where the work was created as a result of funding provided or obtained by a university.
If
it is brought to our attention that you have infringed another parties
copyright or not complied with your university’s intellectual property
policy or our
Terms and Conditions, we will immediately take the work
down from the site and issue you a warning. If you fail to comply with
your university’s policy or our
Terms and Conditions on two occasions,
you will be banned from using the website.
